About the role

Full time position for shipper/receiver, flexible schedule and open availability for weekends.

How You Will Make An Impact

You will be responsible for working closely with all facilities staff, overseeing all duties related to shipping, receiving and mailroom administration.

As a Shipping And Receiving Administrator, You Will

Manage, maintain and provide mailroom related solutions and services while offering reliable, professional, friendly, and engaging customer service, some admin support is required Order all general office supplies for the Facilities Process all incoming and outgoing mail and sort, handle, load, and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using appropriate manual equipment, pallet jack, and/or by hand as needed Maintain the Shipping area; ensure area is kept organized, neat, clean, and clear of unnecessary debris, boxes, or garbage Maintain up-to-date knowledge of courier and post office shipping times, rates, and processes to ensure timely and accurate response time Train designated personnel on the Shipping & Receiving duties and responsibilities to ensure efficient coverage is in place when you are on breaks, absent or unavailable Assist employees and Facilities Maintenance, Custodial and Administration teams with various administrative tasks including laminating, printing, book binding, etc. Track and manage services related to broken chairs/furniture and coordinate their repair with appropriate vendor(s) Secondary back-up to the Reception and Concierge Services desk when primary staff member is unavailable

About You

Solid understanding and knowledge of shipping & receiving and mailroom programs

Proficient in various Shipping & Receiving software Tech savvy with the ability to navigate various word processing and data entry related programs Excellent interpersonal skills, quick thinker with a positive attitude and ability to communicate thoroughly through English, both written and verbal communication Maintain a working professional appearance, demonstrating integrity and a strong positive work ethic Must be able to react quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline orientated environment
