- Educational Assistant certification or relevant experience
- Ability to work with students in one-on-one and classroom setting
- Experience or ability to work with young children
- Strong interpersonal and relationship skills, and an ability to work in a team environment
- A positive and flexible attitude to change
- Interview will be required
- Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation
- Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion
- Ability to improve the educational achievement of First Nations students with high learning needs
- Experience working with First Nations communities and experience supporting First Nation, Métis and Inuit (FNMI) students
Duties (may Include But Are Not Limited To)
- Assisting with a student's educational program
- Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced student-centered environment
- Willingness to meet the health and hygiene needs of children as required
- Other duties as assigned
