About The Role
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products within a distribution environment. This role requires regular use of an RF (Radio Frequency) scanner/RFI gun to accurately track inventory and ensure efficient warehouse workflow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Inventory & Order Processing
Use an RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement throughout the warehouse. Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to company standards. Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits. Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and scanning of inbound and outbound shipments.
Receiving & Shipping
Unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders. Prepare outgoing shipments by staging, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling products. Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS).
Material Handling
Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other warehouse equipment as required. Organize stock in assigned warehouse locations, ensuring clean and efficient workspace flow. Replenish pick locations as necessary based on production and shipping needs.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines. Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions immediately. Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Work Environment
Fast-paced distribution setting with frequent physical activity. Exposure to warehouse conditions including temperature variations, noise, and walking surfaces. May require overtime, weekend work, or shift flexibility.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred. Experience using an RF scanner/RFI gun strongly preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer or WMS system familiarity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
