The Opportunity: We’re looking for aDining Room Supervisorto join ourLifestyle Options – Riverbend teamon a temporary, full-time basis. This temporary assignment is set to conclude onAugust 1, 2026, with the possibility of an early termination or extension. In this role, you will plan and oversee the Dining Room department to ensure the delivery of high‑quality food, beverages, and exceptional customer service.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee all Front‑of‑House dining operations, including room setup, cleanliness, staff management, and the overall resident and guest dining experience.
- Act as a working supervisor on the floor, modeling excellent service standards and engaging warmly and respectfully with residents.
- Train, coach, and monitor dining staff to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and service expectations.
- Create staff schedules, assign tasks, and maintain appropriate staffing levels to support smooth meal service.
- Address residents concern promptly, support continuous improvement, and collaborate with the Site Manager and Executive Chef on enhancing dining operations.
- Complete supervisory administrative duties, follow health and safety requirements, and manage dietary profiles and related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum five (5) years of food‑service experience and one year in a leadership role.
- Exceptional customer service, coaching, and mentorship skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication and solid computer proficiency.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and sound independent decision‑making.
- Ability to empathize with seniors and work collaboratively across departments.
- ProServe certification required (if applicable); banquet or seniors‑care experience considered an asset.
