About the role
Ability to work different shifts as required based upon operational needs. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Worker will be responsible for operating the production equipment during production. This position is temporary and is contract based with a possibility of extension.

Key activities
- Operate machinery.
- Adhere to GMP (Good manufacturing Practice), Quality Assurance Standards, and Food Safety Requirements.
- Always ensure proper use of required personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
- Operate a forklift to handle ingredients.
- Carefully handling, moving, weighing, mixing, recording of ingredients.
Required Training And Experience
- Minimum 1 to 3 years’ experience in the forklift operations, preferably in a food or beverage setting.
- High School Diploma or combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act as it relates to operating equipment.
Skills sought
- Speak and write fluent English.
- Attendance, punctuality and self-motivation.
- Attention to detail and team player.
- Ability to read, understand procedures, analyze products and fill in reports.
- Must be willing to be cross trained as required.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to act with reasoned response using judgment appropriate to the situation.
- Ability to always work with safety in mind.
- Maintains personal hygiene standards to ensure the integrity of ingredients and production processes.
Specific Condition Regarding The Position
- Forklift operator certificate required.
