Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a Financial Planning Internship position.
Job Summary The Intern, Treasury & Taxation assists in various tasks and projects. The incumbent participates in the preparation of Cash Position reports, project forecasts, and corroborates Letters of Credit fees.
Major Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the Cash Position report
- Process Tax Payments
- Verify Money Market wires
- Authenticate quarterly Letters of Credit fees
- Support the preparation of Accounts Receivables (AR) and Accounts Payables (AP) project forecasts
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Applies critical thinking
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, specialising in Accounting or Finance
- Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
