Inventory Manager

Schedule/Location of Work:

We are currently hiring for Day Shift Position with a consistent, work-life-friendly schedule:
8 Hour Shift - Monday to Friday
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Based at our facility in Rosenort, MB (just 35 minutes south of Winnipeg)

Headquartered in **Rosenort,**Manitoba, just 35 min south of Winnipeg, K.A. Group also maintains a manufacturing warehouse facility in Wisconsin.

About the Role:

The inventory manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory management at K-TEC. This role involves ensuring accurate inventory control, collaborating with teams to implement best practices, and supporting the integration and maintenance of inventory systems. The manager will drive efficiency, implement organizational standards, and support strong coordination between production planning and inventory operations.

key duties and responsibilities

  • Oversee all inventory management activities
  • Collaborate with inventory teams in Manitoba and Wisconsin to develop best inventory practices, SOP’s to be used at all facilities
  • Support ERP/MRP improvement initiatives and ongoing maintenance
  • Maintain, develop and implement inventory organizational standards
  • Work closely with production planning team to ensure inventory is being created and consumed properly in ERP system
  • Perform internal audits at all facilities to ensure SOP’s and standards are being followed
  • Identify inventory specific KPI’s and present to management
  • Facilitate and report on inventory counts
  • Develop and implement cycle count schedules
  • Develop inventory stocking plan
  • Investigate and diagnose inventory consumption issues
  • Reconcile inventory differences between physical stock and ERP data
  • Manage shipping/receiving staff, providing direction on day-to-day activities
  • Review and close incoming stock orders

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Good analytical skills, high level problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • High-level communication skills
  • Experience working with inventory management software/ERP
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Power BI

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of inventory management or warehouse management experience
  • Forklift/loader experience an asset
  • Lean and Kaizen experience an asset

Other Requirements:

The final compensation range may vary above or below the posted band based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and overall alignment with the role requirements.
