  • (Internal Title: Contract Administration and Procurement II)

    • Administer and manage the assigned contracts and procurements including commercial elements from inception through to completion
    • Initiate the deployment of negotiated Request for Proposals (RFP) for selected major procurements
    • Coordinate the bidding process to solicit competitive bids and proposals including the development of public advertisements and issuance of addenda
    • Develop proposal and contract evaluation criteria, weighting, and submission requirements for use in evaluating and comparing submissions
    • Organize and chair kick-off, debriefing, and pre-bid meetings with vendors and client groups
    • Prepare and issue meeting minutes, and site tours for bidders or proponents
    • Uphold acceptable pricing terms and conditions for contracts, contract changes, and claims with contractors and other service providers, as well as collaborate with other key stakeholders
    • Interpret contracts and ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions and the scope of work
    • Prepare the analysis as to the nature and value of contract amendments and changes after each contract
    • Compile data associated with the assessment and review of contractor claims for entitlement and substantiation per the terms of the contracts including the support of negotiations on claims or dispute resolution proceedings as needed
    • Monitor contractor adherence to contract scopes, schedules, and budgets
    • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans in consultation with assigned Contract Administration and Procurement III or higher
    • Track, monitor, and report on performance against commercial requirements, schedules, milestones, budgets, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and address issues with corrective actions as appropriate
    • Organize and execute the procurement strategy for various tenders, including the development of simple and complex tenders using defined project requirements
    • Report the delivery team's progress and daily activities associated with the design, development, management, and control of the procurement
    • Review, recommend, and test appropriate procurement models, evaluation process, selection criteria, and weightings
    • Prepare procurement documents using company templates (e.g., Request for Proposal (RFP), Response for Qualification and Quotation (RQQ), Request for Services (RFS), Request for Information (RFI), Supplier Qualifications (SQ), Public Tender (PT), etc.)
    • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of large and complex procurement projects including related research, document development, and risk assessment
    • Train designated evaluators, facilitate consensus meetings, and arrange presentations as required
    • Ensure that open tendering policies, contract law, and applicable trade agreements are adhered to
  • Working Conditions

    • Office-based or site-based

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Contract Administration or Procurement and Supply Chain Management
  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Logistics or Supply Management
  • Licenses OR Certifications:

    • Holding recognized certification in specified fields of Engineering, Contracts Management, Program Management, or Procurement Management including Project Management certification - PMI (Project Management Institute), Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certificate Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) or equivalent
  • Skills and Competencies:

    • In-depth understanding of prevailing Commercial Management methods
    • Proficient in the application of tools and metrics needed to evaluate contract or procurement performance
    • Competent in Project Management software
    • Skilled in reading, comprehending, and negotiating contract terms
    • Readiness to learn other Commercial Management, Procurement, and Project Management software on the job
    • Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines
    • Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
    • Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
    • Effective skills in Microsoft Office
    • Equipped to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
