Position: Data Annotator, E-commerce
Location: Remote - Toronto, ON
Job Type: 6-month contract to start with a potential for extension
Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, Monday to Friday

Our client is searching for a Data Annotator to join their fast-growing team! As a Data Annotator, you will join the Catalog Content team to help curate and label high-quality catalog data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist business clients in getting set up through an e-commerce platform
Classify and verify production information and directly affect the customer experience

Troubleshoot any issues that vendors may be having with the platform and escalate accordingly

Support with additional tasks and special projects
-
Assist with launching products and services on available retail platforms
-
Assist with data labeling and data annotation projects to improve catalog quality
-
Verify the quality of attributes through investigating various data points (e.g. image, external websites) to ensure we have high quality for these attributes

Review vendor results for data quality workflows to assess vendor accuracy
-
Review results for the brand workflow to standardize different variations of brands into the correct brand using internal/external research
-
Maintain standards for high-quality catalog data and working with brands and content providers to source data
Key Requirements:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Degree or diploma in Business Technology, Computer Science, or related field
-
2 to 3+ years of experience working with large sets of data and SQL
-
Google Suite and MS Office is mandatory
-
Knowledgeable in data curation, data labeling, and data annotation
-
Must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
-
Excel experience and exposure to Excel commands is mandatory
-
Ability to learn new internal tools/in-house systems and processes quickly
-
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and team spirit
-
Ability to work independently, proactive/resourceful
-
Must pass a criminal background check
