Our client, a well-established company in the construction industry, is currently seeking a Counter Sales Representative to join its service team. Reporting to the department manager, you will be one of the first points of contact with clients and will play a key role in processing orders efficiently and coordinating with delivery personnel.
Tasks
- Greet customers and provide guidance on products and materials.
- Receive, process, and enter orders into the system.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and text messages.
- Maintain communication with delivery personnel for order tracking and preparation.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
- Provide fast, courteous, and professional customer service.
- Perform any other related tasks to ensure smooth operations at the counter.
Job requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in a hardware store or building materials retailer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project management software (Procore is a strong asset).
- Solid understanding of construction materials and tools.
- Good understanding of construction processes.
- Excellent command of written and spoken French.
