The Communications Specialist will play a key role in developing and delivering the Foundation’s communications strategy to strengthen donor engagement, community awareness, and fundraising success. In this role, you will collaborate with internal staff, volunteers, and external partners. This position is responsible for creating compelling content across multiple channels, ensuring consistent and effective messaging that reflects the Foundation’s mission and values. The role is both creative and hands-on, requiring the ability to bring the Foundation’s impact stories to life

Key Responsibilitie**

• s:Work closely with Riverview Health Centre staff, residents, patients, families, and care partners to gather stories, testimonials, and photos that showcase the impact of donor support. Attend RHC events to document and share these moment
• s.Coordinate with external stakeholders on third-party fundraising events, providing guidance, communications support, and promotion to help maximize succes
• s.Develop and write newsletters, stewardship emails, donor communications, and impact stories to highlight the Foundation’s mission and achievement
• s.Produce the Foundation’s annual report, coordinating content, design, and production to ensure professional and engaging presentatio
• n.Manage the Foundation’s social media presence by creating content, graphics, and posts that foster engagement and raise awarenes
• s.Capture photos and videos at events and activities to use in promotional materials and digital campaign
• s.Support marketing and promotional efforts, including advertising initiatives and partnerships with media outlets such as radio and televisio
• n.Collaborate with the Foundation’s events contractor to support promotion, sponsorship recruitment, and the development of event-related communications and material
