As a Systems Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the technology that empowers our employees and People team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the tools and integrations, including Workday, that support every Yelper’s experience, partnering with business leaders and employees across Yelp to implement and optimize the technology and processes that drive our people experience. From scaling seamless HR processes in Workday to enabling our People Operations partners, your work will have a direct impact on the way our teams collaborate and thrive. This opportunity is fully remote and does not require you to be located in any particular area in Canada. We welcome applicants from throughout Canada. ##What you'll do:
- Design, build, and maintain complex Workday integrations using Studio, Orchestrate, EIBs, Core Connectors, and related tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring secure and timely data delivery to vendors and internal systems
- Maintain and enhance integrations leveraging XSLT, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST)
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert, collaborating cross-functionally to implement and optimize business processes
- Act as a functional lead in a major Workday area, configuring processes and advanced calculations
- Gather and translate business requirements, supporting key cycles such as Comp Review, Benefits Open Enrollment, and Payroll Year-EndDeliver advanced Workday analytics through reports, dashboards, and BIRT outputs
##What it takes to succeed:
- Several years of hands-on Workday experience, with a strong focus on integrations
- Expertise with Workday Studio and Orchestrate
- Proven experience configuring or leading in at least one core Workday functional area
- Strong proficiency in XSLT, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST)
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and reporting skills
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities, translating business needs into technical solutions
- Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
##What you'll get:
The top end of the compensation range for this role exceeds $200,000 annually. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a compensation range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data and years of experience. The actual compensation offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience and skill set.
You may also be offered restricted stock units and benefits.
