We’re looking for an Information Security Specialist to join our team and play a key role in protecting our systems, data, and people. You’ll be boots on the ground in the day-to-day operations. Responding to incidents, strengthening defenses in real time, and ensuring security is embedded in everything we do.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the implementation of information security practices and apply standards to protect systems and data
- Monitor for vulnerabilities and threats, investigate incidents, and support corrective actions
- Contribute to business continuity planning and overall security readiness
- Maintain cybersecurity tools, documentation, and security metrics reporting
- Deliver security awareness training and stay current on emerging threats
- Partner with teams across the business to support security needs and service requests
ABOUT YOU
- You have a foundation in information security, IT, or a related field (education or equivalent experience)
- You’re eager to keep learning and building your skills in your cybersecurity career
- You have a solid understanding of security concepts (e.g., access control, network security, risk, incident response)
- You’re curious and proactive. You like digging into problems and figuring out how things work
- You can explain technical ideas in a clear, practical way to different audiences
- You’re organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on follow-through
- You’re comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with security tools, frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001), or IT service environments is an asset, but not required.

ELIGIBILITY
Please note that obtaining security clearance is a requirement for this position, and as part of the process, the successful candidate will undergo a background check and personal reference verification.
To be eligible for this position and to successfully obtain the required security clearance, candidates must be either a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
