About the role

Key Responsibilities and Authorities:

  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
  • Plan, lead, and document internal audits related to quality, environmental, and customer-specific requirements as per audit frequency requirements.
  • Review the quality and environmental system procedures to ensure their accuracy, continuing suitability and effectiveness in satisfying the current ISO9001/IATF16949 and ISO 14001 standards, customer and corporate requirements.
  • Maintain the internal auditor qualification matrix to ensure sufficient number of auditors are trained and qualified to perform EMS and system audits.
  • Overseeing that all mandatory EMS evaluations are performed per schedule , such as Compliance Audits, NPRI and 3-S audits (waste audits).
  • Lead Layered Process Audits (LPA’s) to improve quality systems that exceed customer requirements and ensuring audits are completed on-time via the automated schedule.
  • Report weekly all LPA non-conformances to the management team
  • Coordinate and facilitate external third-party audits (IATF, ISO 14001) and customer audits from OEMs (e.g., CQI-15, CQI-14, VDA 6.3, Ford Q1, China CQC etc.).
  • Maintain the latest IATF16949 and ISO14001 certificates in respective customer portals.
  • Perform CQI-14 Warranty assessment and annual review.
  • Track CQI assessments from suppliers
  • Yearly maintenance of assessments (Stellantis-MRS, Ford Q1 site assessment)
  • Track and update the Ford Supplier Assessments and Trackers portal
  • Ensure that requirements of CQC 16-491289-2018 are effectively established, implemented and maintained.
  • Ensure correct use of CQC certificate and mark and ensure continuous validity of certificate status of certified products.
  • Provide monthly compliance QMS reports related to all quality services to the senior management team.
  • Track and ensure timely closure of all audit findings through effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable legal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain controlled documentation and ensure timely updates of procedures, policies, and records to reflect process or regulatory changes.
  • Support quality and environmental training programs across departments.
  • Perform gap analyses to evaluate compliance and system effectiveness; implement action plans to close any identified gaps.
  • Monitor and report on key quality and environmental performance indicators (KPIs and KMIs).
  • Coordinate, schedule, and lead monthly KMI meetings with the management team.
  • Coordinate and plan Product Audits as per schedule.
  • Coordinate, schedule and lead the annual Significant Aspect Review and Emergency Preparedness Meetings.
  • Coordinate, schedule and lead the annual Risk and Opportunity Meetings.
  • Provide support during customer visits, audits, and product-related concerns or escalations.
  • Coordinate , schedule and lead Management Review and Facility Review Meetings activities, ensuring required data and inputs are prepared and communicated clearly.
  • Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 8D, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
  • Act as a liaison between quality, production, engineering, and customer teams on system-related issues and resolutions.
  • Warranty back up for Warranty Engineer
