Pay Rate: $56.38–$83.88/hour, depending on experience Contract Length: 1 Year Location: Calgary, Alberta

Raise is currently hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their Human Resources team to support ongoing business growth, making this an exciting opportunity to partner with leaders, drive strategic hiring initiatives, and help attract top talent across the organization. Our Client, the third largest producer of Canadian oil and natural gas and the second largest refiner and upgrader with extensive midstream and downstream infrastructure.

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description

The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle while partnering with business leaders to develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies. This role serves as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, delivering exceptional candidate experiences while ensuring hiring objectives are achieved efficiently and in alignment with business priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business hiring needs and workforce plans. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding support. Partner with hiring leaders to understand workforce requirements and provide recruitment guidance and market insights. Source high-quality candidates through multiple channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and social media. Conduct candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate technical qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Deliver a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Maintain accurate recruitment records, applicant tracking systems, and candidate documentation. Monitor recruitment metrics and prepare reports on hiring activity, pipeline health, and time-to-fill performance. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders while providing regular updates on recruitment progress. Stay informed of labour market trends, employment legislation, and recruitment best practices to continuously improve hiring outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, or Human Resources. Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment and Canadian employment legislation. Experience developing recruitment strategies and managing multiple concurrent requisitions. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment technologies, and sourcing platforms. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Skills

Strategic workforce planning experience. Data-driven recruitment and reporting experience. Strong advisory and consulting skills with hiring managers and business leaders. Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on recruitment process optimization. Experience recruiting across corporate, technical, or specialized professional roles.
