About the role
JOEY Restaurant Group is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to lead the planning, development and execution of multi-channel integrated marketing initiatives across all brands (JOEY Restaurants, LOCAL Public Eatery, SALTLIK). This role plays a pivotal role within the Marketing Department, and partners closely with Operations, cross-functional teams, and external partners to deliver cohesive, on-brand, and operationally-sound marketing programs.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader, strategic planner, and a strong operator – comfortable managing complex timelines, translating brand marketing and menu campaign strategies into compelling guest-facing plans. This is an in-office role based in Vancouver, BC.
Annual Compensation Range
$50,000 – $100,000 / year
The salary range is dependent on skill and work experience.
Responsibilities

Menu & Seasonal Campaign Ownership

Lead seasonal and annual campaign programming across Canada and the US, owning marketing strategies, project budgets, execution and post analysis

Develop creative briefs that are grounded in guest insights, storytelling and business objectives

Partner with internal teams and external agencies to deliver scalable content, innovative creative, and cohesive go-to-market plans that drive engagement and conversions

Use data and insights to inform optimization and recommended actions

Ensure consistency of brand voice, visual identity, and guest experience across all campaign touch points

External PR & Media Management
-
Manage the PR agency and media partners to support brand storytelling, seasonal launches and key initiatives

Oversee media outreach and coordination, as well as performance reporting

Stakeholder & Operations Communication
-
Act as a key Marketing partner to Operations and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment and readiness for all launches

Develop clear communication materials and timelines to support successful in-store execution

Proactively identify risks, dependencies and operational constraints, managing them through thoughtful planning and communication

Reporting & Performance Analysis

Manage brand and sales KPIs, and coordinate campaign performance analysis, including sales impact, guest engagement and channel effectiveness

Develop clear, actionable post-campaign insights to inform future planning and optimization

Owned Website Brand Experience

Ensure content accuracy and integrity, visual consistency, and alignment with current brand and campaign content

Partner with the digital agency to manage accessibility, enhancements and optimizations

Team Leadership & Development

Foster professional growth and build a culture of high performance, collaboration and excellence within the Marketing team

Build and evolve smart processes and planning frameworks that enable efficient execution and cross-functional collaboration

Define and implement performance systems, including KPIs and reporting standards to measure impact and continuously improve marketing effectiveness

Design systems that reduce manual effort, mitigate risk and support faster, more consistent execution

Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably at a creative agency, or within hospitality, consumer or brand marketing, with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- A Seasoned Marketer – Well-versed with leading marketing programming and content channels with multiple stakeholders, including in-store, digital (email, social, paid media, online ads, search), print, out-of-home and experiential
