About the role
Summary: The Office Administrator is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the office to ensure efficient operations, cost-effective service delivery and administrative support.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth workflows and high service standards
- Manage office functions including, but not limited to, reception, mail distribution and document preparation
- Coordinate travel arrangements for staff, including booking flights, accommodations and rental, which ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to budget.
- Organizing staff events and meetings.
- Managed inventory and timely replacement of toner cartridges and other consumables
- Maintained cleanliness and stock levels of office beverage stations.
- Source, negotiate and manage relationships with office vendors and service providers.
- Maintain and monitor office supplies and equipment inventory in all locations.
- Provide general support to the leadership team and various departments as needed.
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Certificate/Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration
- 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food manufacturing
- Experience coordinating travel and negotiating with vendors is a strong plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem solving
- Demonstrated administrative experience with document management and general support functions
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
- Must maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding all work-related matters
- Strong communication, analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to make timely decisions associated with process upsets
- Adaptive work style with an ability to handle multiple priorities, challenging demands and function positively in a dynamic collaborative work environment
- Communicates well and deals professionally with all levels of contacts (internal and external)
- Proficient computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word
The position comes with an attractive base pay up to $70,000, paid time off, RRSP match and extended dental and health benefits.
