About The Role We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Applications team. This role will focus on supporting COTS (Configurable Off the Shelf) and SaaS (Software as a Service) software solutions across our retail and production operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, BT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure applications are effectively maintained, enhanced, and aligned with business needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Application Support & Maintenance

  • Act as the first point of contact for issues related to enterprise applications.

  • Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve incidents, escalating to the Supervisor, Enterprise Applications or vendors when required.

  • Monitor application performance and usage, ensuring stability and efficiency.

  • Business Analysis & Documentation

  • Partner with business teams to understand processes, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for system improvements.

  • Document business requirements, workflows, and solution designs (current vs. future state).

  • Create and maintain end-user documentation, training materials, and knowledge articles.

  • System Enhancements & Testing

  • Assist with application upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations.

  • Support configuration of COTS applications to meet business needs.

  • Work with SaaS vendors for enhancements, ensuring functional and technical requirements are met.

  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system changes and ensure quality.

  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work with cross-functional teams (operations, manufacturing, finance, BT) to align technology solutions with business objectives.

  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users and internal support teams.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions.

  • Compliance & Governance

  • Follow company policies and procedures related to application security and compliance (e.g., SOX).

  • Support audits by providing documentation and evidence as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent experience as outlined below will be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical/support role
  • Exposure to COTS/SaaS applications, including, but not limited to: Health and Safety applications, Quality Management applications, Learning Management Systems, Retail/e-commerce applications, Project Management applications
  • Experience with incident/request management and application support
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies for system implementations and upgrades
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word)
  • SQL or similar programming language experience is an asset
  • Background in retail or manufacturing industries is an advantage
  • IIBA/CBAP certification or equivalent certificate/degree is an asset
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance
