About the role

Join Lonestar a Clean Harbors Company today! We are growing our sales team and are looking for a Daylighting Sales Representative. Our sales representative will grow, expand and maintain revenues and numbers for our daylighting division branches (known as Lonestar) within Calgary and Edmonton specifically.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
  • Interfaces with customers in a professional and effective manner to update them on the project status and/or to resolve problems/issues;
  • Represents Clean Harbors in regional and national networking organizations that best benefits growth within daylighting business and the two branches of Calgary and Edmonton supporting all of Alberta
  • Works closely with operational branch teams, Clean Harbors account managers to ensure that customer needs are being met
  • Achieving KPI targets in relation to revenue growth and sales, CRM management (Salesforce) and cross-selling initiatives between all Clean Harbors lines of business;
  • Ability to travel as needed, 40-50% between the two branches you are supporting (Calgary & Edmonton)
  • Assist to expand and grow these branches and maintain steady year-over-year business
  • Stay informed of resource, construction, infrastructure-based activity in Alberta and opportunities for daylighting and hydro-vac
  • Identify new industries and sales opportunities for the daylighting division (ex. General Contractors, EPCMs, Service Sector, Construction companies, Government projects, Municipal projects etc.)
  • Promote and maintain the organization’s brand recognition specifically Lonestar and its identity within the construction industry including attending conferences and tradeshows.
  • Main point of contact between our clients or prospect clients and our business
  • Responsible for following market conditions and recognizing market trends and market pricing within the daylighting and hydrovac industry.
  • Generate, quantify, qualify and continuously follow up on sales leads and opportunities and maintaining our sales pipeline at a healthy level.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • 5+ years sales experience preferably in the hydrovac or daylighting industry; not required but a background in the construction or pipeline industry would be an asset.
  • Strong negotiation skills; ability to drive decision-making;
  • Strong collaboration skills; ability to facilitate service team approach to ensure customer satisfaction and follow- through;
  • Time and territory management skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities and self-motivated sales practices;
  • Proficient Computer skills including: Salesforce and MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
