The studio takes pride in providing a holistic approach to interior design, offering services including space planning, construction documentation, project coordination, custom furniture, millwork, lighting and styling.
**Job Summary:**We are looking for a talented Intermediate Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. You will collaborate closely with senior designers and project managers to deliver innovative design solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
-**Conceptual Design:**Develop conceptual designs and mood boards that align with client goals and project requirements.
-**Space Planning:**Create detailed space plans, including furniture layouts, lighting plans, material specifications and design packages.
-**Material and Finishes Selection:**Select appropriate materials, finishes, colors, and furnishings while considering functionality, budget, and aesthetic preferences.
-**Project Coordination:**Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is carried through to construction and installation phases.
-**Client Interaction:**Participate in client meetings to present design concepts, gather feedback, and address concerns.
-**Site Visits:**Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
Requirements:
-**Education:**Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
-**Experience:**2-5 years of experience in interior design, preferably in a design firm or architectural practice.
-**Portfolio:**A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in space planning, material selection
-**Software Skills:**Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fohlio).
-**Knowledge:**Understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
-**Creativity:**Ability to innovate and develop unique design solutions that meet client needs.
-**Communication:**Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present ideas and interact with clients and team members.
-**Project Management:**Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
