Position Title: Order & Logistics Coordinator (Seasonal)

McCain Fertilizer in Florenceville, New Brunswick is seeking a Seasonal Order & Logistics Coordinator to support operations during our busy spring season through approximately mid-July. This role is critical in supporting growers, coordinating fertilizer orders, and assisting with truck logistics to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable multitasking in a high-volume operational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive fertilizer orders from growers by phone and text message
• Accurately enter and process orders in the internal system
• Support order desk operations and respond to grower inquiries in a timely manner
• Weigh bulk delivery trucks in and out using the in-house system
• Provide truck drivers with delivery instructions and destination information
• Coordinate with internal teams and drivers to support efficient product movement
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data entry is completed correctly
• Support daily operations and assist with additional administrative/logistics tasks as needed during peak season

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Basic computer skills and confidence learning internal systems
• Experience in order entry, dispatch, logistics, agriculture, or operations is considered an asset
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and ability to commit through the seasonal term

Schedule / Term:

• Seasonal role running now through approximately mid-July.
• Typical shift starts 6:30–7:00 AM and runs until 9:00 PM. Hours for this role are 700-800 range.
• 7 days per week during peak season (schedule to be discussed based on operational needs)
