Position SummaryThe Physician Assistant (PA) works collaboratively with family physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive primary care services to WellFort clients. The PA practices under a Medical Directive and/or Supervising Physician agreement and plays a key role in improving access to care, continuity of services, and overall patient outcomes.
This position is ideal for a PA who is passionate about community-based primary care, health equity, and working with diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities• Conduct patient assessments including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within the scope of practice and medical directives.
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory tests and diagnostic investigations.
- Provide health education, counselling, and preventive care to patients and families.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as authorized under medical directives and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential medical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case conferences, and team meetings.
- Support WellFort’s commitment to culturally safe, trauma-informed, and client-centred care.
Qualifications & Requirements• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA) or eligible for certification.
- Experience in primary care, community health, or family medicine is strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse, underserved, and vulnerable populations.
- Commitment to health equity, anti-oppressive practice, and community-based care.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Our role as a Garment Buying House in Bangladesh is two folds and unique. We represent our Buyers to the Local Suppliers and Manufacturers. Moreover, because of the nature of the Ready Made Garments industry in Bangladesh that is almost based on the cost of manufacture, we represent the Local Manufacturers to our Buyers. We are fast growing and providing outstanding garment sourcing solution to our International Garments Buyers: Fashion Brand Retailers, Wholesalers, Distributors, and Online Sellers.
We believe that the business we are in requires an innovative and efficient approach of garment sourcing to meet the apparel industry target of Cost, Quality and Lead Time.
