THE ROLE
Come join the PSP team at Royal Military College Saint-Jean!
Fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs are delivered by Personnel
Support Programs (PSP) on Bases, Wings and Units across Canada and in deployed
operations. PSP delivers evidence-based programs, which contribute to the health and
well-being of the military community and operational effectiveness of the CAF.
Under the supervision of the Procurement Coordinator, as the incumbent you will
provide administrative services for the sports store and perform general repairs and
maintenance on fitness and sports equipment. You will assist customers, advise
customers on the use and care of equipment, and arrange for the installation and deinstallation of equipment. In this position, you will distribute, receive, mark and store
equipment as required, verify the return of equipment and ensure proper storage. You
will also inspect equipment from a safety perspective and take corrective action as
required.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND some experience in a related field.
Experience
In a recreation, fitness facility or similar environment
In providing customer service
In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, email
and Internet browsing
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and
leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual (English and French) Essential

Oral: Functional

College Saint-Jean is to educate duly selected Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)
members in order to instill them with the competencies required to maintain excellence
in the profession of arms.
PSP: Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and
military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs (PSP).
Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian
Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion
programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
