Responsabilités
- Offrir la formation théorique et pratique aux nouveaux conducteurs.
- Animer des sessions de formation continue pour les employés en poste.
- Évaluer les compétences des conducteurs selon les normes de Transports Québec et de l'entreprise.
- Maintenir à jour les dossiers de formation.
- Participer aux enquêtes d'incidents et à la mise en œuvre de mesures correctives.
- Contribuer aux réunions de sécurité et aux initiatives de prévention.
- Se déplacer entre les sites de formation (permis de conduire requis).
Profil recherché
- Permis de conduire classe 2 avec mention F (formation possible pour les candidats admissibles).
- Minimum 2 ans d'expérience en conduite d'autobus.
- Expérience en formation ou en mentorat (un atout).
- Dossier de conduite impeccable.
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication et animation de groupe.
- Autonomie et capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités.

School Bus Driver Trainer Transco (First Student) - Québec, QC Permanent | Full-time Job Summary You will play a key role in training new school bus drivers, both in the classroom and behind the wheel. You'll ensure compliance with Québec safety standards and company policies, while supporting drivers' ongoing development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom and practical training to new drivers.
- Lead refresher sessions for current employees.
- Assess driver skills to meet Transports Québec and company standards.
- Maintain accurate training records.
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Support safety meetings and prevention initiatives.
- Travel between training sites (valid driver's license required).
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 license with "F" endorsement (training available for eligible candidates).
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience with a Class 2 license.
- Experience in training or mentoring (an asset).
- Clean driving record.
- Strong communication and group facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
