Could you be the full-time Engineering Intern – Rolling Stock Maintenance (REM Project) in Montréal we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical and analytical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in supporting the REM automated rail system by analyzing technical issues, enhancing shopfloor operations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as maintenance, engineering, and operations), update maintenance manuals and work instructions, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of supporting obsolescence reviews and change management documentation, but also help develop and track maintenance performance KPIs.
We’ll look to you for:
- Assisting in technical issue characterization and basic root-cause analysis
- Supporting obsolescence reviews and change management documentation
- Updating maintenance manuals and work instructions
- Responding to shopfloor engineering requests
- Helping develop and track maintenance performance KPIs
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
