Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Work in employer's/client's home. Tasks: Change diapers. Follow parents' lead with toilet training . Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties. Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens. Bathe, dress and feed infants and children. Prepare infants and children for rest periods. Supervise and care for children. Target audience: Children. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Employment terms options: Shift. Flexible hours. On call. Day. Weekend. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people. Facilitates access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers . Support for mature workers: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers .
