Regular Part Time
Salary Range: $36.84 - $51.77 /hour
In this role, the MRI technologist will be part of a dedicated group of technologists working closely with the MRI Charge Technologist and the Diagnostic Imaging team. They will be primarily responsible for delivering high-quality MRI services that meet the needs of our referring physicians and patients. Our team operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, performing a wide range of advanced MRI exams, including comprehensive imaging of the head, neck, spine, body, and cardiac regions, utilizing the latest 3D imaging, diffusion, and spectroscopy techniques.
Essential Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized Magnetic Resonance Imaging program
- Successful completion of Canadian Certification Exam for MRI
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario
- Knowledge of a Safety Culture in a Health Care Setting in compliance with the OHSA
- Capable of performing the full spectrum of MRI procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external customers
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in French would be an asset.
- Two years recent experience as a Registered Technologist
- Certification to perform injections of contrast material
Teaching and Research

Immunization Requirements
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella, varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, COVID-19 and influenza.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing
