Your Opportunity:
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at the Opioid Dependency Program, you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals living with opioid use disorder. You will be responsible for integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients. Additionally, you will utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership and Optimizing Health Systems, Education, and Research to increase care quality, promote appropriate use of health services, and inform and influence healthcare systems. You will gain and utilize a strong understanding of addiction and opioid agonist therapy as well as provide primary health care to a panel of patients. Rotation is flexible.

Required Qualifications:

Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Experience in or strong interest in addictions.

As Required.
