Job Duties

The Account Leader serves as the strategic driver of client growth and profitability, aligning Halliburton’s full suite of technical, commercial, operational, and offshore completions capabilities with customer needs. Acting as a trusted advisor to client leadership, this role ensures long-term value creation, market penetration, and sustained account performance across domestic and international operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the account team, optimizing account potential and directing initiatives that maximize revenue growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with client management, positioning Halliburton as a partner of choice.
  • Drive market share expansion by matching client needs with the company’s integrated technical solutions, including offshore completions, well construction, and production optimization services.
  • Anticipate client requirements, identify opportunities, and secure resources to address both current and future needs globally, with an emphasis on offshore operations and completions planning.
  • Act as a key member of the Business Development leadership team, shaping account strategies and ensuring alignment with broader commercial objectives.
  • Partner with District, Country, and Area Sales Managers, as well as Account Managers, to design and execute comprehensive account plans that deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in sales, account management, or business development within the energy or oilfield services sector.
  • Proven track record of leading multi-million-dollar accounts ($20M–$100M revenue scope) with measurable growth and profitability outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, negotiate complex agreements, and build enduring client partnerships.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore completions operations and associated technical services.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills with a global, client-focused mindset.
