All about the role

As the Courier Supply Optimization Associate, you will play an integral role in implementing strategic initiatives and developing and refining operational tools and playbooks to optimize courier supply for our self-supporting contractor delivery model. You will be providing valuable insights for both short and long-term tactical changes to Courier supply strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (global functions, markets, and product) within the organization to implement both short and long-term strategies for courier supply.
    • Provide insights on courier supply-related opportunities to product and data analytics teams.
    • Central point of contact responsible for sharing knowledge, learnings, and best practices gathered from various markets.
  • Operational

    • Develop and enhance operational tools and playbook for efficient courier supply management.
    • Take ownership of implementing courier supply strategies across all markets.
    • Continuously monitor courier supply using the Courier Forecast tool and utilize cost-effective tactics to address supply gaps.
    • Assist in executing experiments to inform the Product roadmap.
    • Proficient in framing business problems for investigation by the analytics team and fostering collaboration.
    • Proactively conduct post-data analysis for BAU business activities and experiments.
    • Communicate data insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Can you deliver… (required Knowledge, skills, and competencies)

  • Advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Basic understanding of SQL, Tableau (or other data visualization tools).
  • Organizational understanding: Ability to connect data with real live operations.
  • Work well under pressure and can balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong logical and solution-finding familiarity, with the knowledge of how to use data to identify optimization opportunities and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong reporting skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
