Sinai Health is looking for an experienced Ariba Trainer to support our SAP Modernization Project. The SAP Ariba Trainer plays a key role in supporting the successful implementation, adoption, and sustainment of SAP Ariba across Sinai Health. Reporting to the Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead, this role is responsible for delivering a comprehensive, high-quality training experience for end-users. This includes localizing training materials, customizing role-based content, facilitating training sessions, and ensuring users are fully equipped to perform their duties using SAP Ariba. The ideal candidate brings experience as an SAP Ariba user, instructional design experience, and a strong understanding of adult learning principles, with the ability to translate system processes into clear, user-friendly training experiences.
In this role you will:
- Localize pre-developed SAP Ariba training materials to ensure alignment with workflows, terminology, procurement policies, and operational processes
- Deliver role-specific instructor-lead training and virtual instructor lead training sessions for end-users across SAP Ariba modules, including sourcing, contracts management, supplier lifecycle & performance (SLP), buying & invoicing, inventory management, guided Buying, and reporting tools
- Customize and refine training content to meet functional, departmental, and role-based needs—including instructor guides, hands-on exercises, job aids, e-learning modules, and simulations
- Collaborate with project teams to understand business processes, system configuration, and functional requirements to ensure training materials are current, accurate and aligned
- Facilitate engaging, hands-on training sessions (in-person, virtual, or hybrid) for end-users, super-users, and leadership groups to ensure effective knowledge transfer and user readiness
- Prepare, update, and maintain training data sheets used for simulations and practice exercises
- Support post–go-live training initiatives, including refresher sessions and new-hire training
- Review, update, and localize job aids and user guides to reflect Sinai Health procurement practices and workflow changes
- Develop and maintain an organized, accessible repository of training materials, version updates, and supporting documentation within the organization’s LMS and project SharePoint
- Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and readiness indicators; recommend improvements based on user feedback and performance outcomes
- Provide desk-side coaching, floor support, and hypercare assistance during go-live and stabilization periods to reinforce learning and support end-users in real time
- Identify user challenges and escalate issues where additional training, process clarification, or system enhancement may be required
- Monitor and report training progress, adoption readiness, and risks to project leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations
- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Education, or a related field
- 2 years of SAP training and implementation experience including Ariba Procurement and Supplier Management modules
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering training programs for large-scale SAP or technology implementations
Preferred

SAP Trainer certifications (e.g., TPMA, ACMP, SAP) with demonstrated proficiency in SAP Ariba modules
Skills and Knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts
