Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Team, the Branch Manager is responsible for supervising the overall performance of employees while increasing market share in their assigned territory, managing the financial performance of the store, and ensuring customer needs are met.

  • Execute the business plan and achieve financial performance, including sales, budgets and cost controls, according to established goals for the location
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all existing and new customers and resolve elevated customer issues
  • Direct the operations of the store
  • Represent the company for the sale of machinery to key and/or walk in customers as needed
  • Ensure appropriate communication occurs within and across departments which includes leading regular department management / employee meetings
  • Communicate and mentor the Huron Tractor Vision, Mission, Values and Core Competencies within the store
  • Ensure the successful planning and execution of marketing activities and events
  • Oversee maintenance, security and a professional appearance of the facility and property
  • Leads by example with procedures and is a key driver in ensuring the Health & Safety of all employees

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in a dealership environment
  • Experience with Parts or Service management or in a Sales role would be preferred, but candidates with other management experience will be considered
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and departmental business goals
  • Agricultural industry experience would be an asset
  • Knowledge of financial metrics, and a solid understanding of sales, parts and service operations is required
  • Bachelor degree in Agriculture, Business or relevant work experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
