Position Summary

As a Site Administrator, you will lead with compassion and integrity, ensuring high-quality, resident-centered care. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, you will oversee all aspects of resident care, safety, and quality of life, while managing the operational budget and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

The Site Administrator will:

  • Model the organization’s mission, vision, and values, consistently representing Covenant professionally and positively
  • Collaborate effectively as a professional team player, supporting the achievement of Covenant’s mission, vision, and values
  • Engage and mobilize teams to fulfill Covenant’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support care and hospitality teams to deliver exceptional care
  • Engage and mobilize teams to achieve strategic objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all standards and regulations
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment
  • Manage the site operational budget and resources effectively
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in a continuing care setting
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership position, in healthcare (multi-disciplinary teams)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional judgment
  • Knowledge of provincial continuing care legislation and standards
  • Experience with healthcare information systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Compassionate, professional, and resident focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills
  • Adaptable in a fast paced care environment
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
