About the Role
Pampa Brazilian Steakhouse is seeking passionate and hardworking Grill Cooks ('Gauchos') to join our culinary team. This unique position involves preparing, grilling, and carving a variety of premium meats table-side in the authentic Brazilian rodízio style.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and marinate different meat cuts (beef, pork, lamb, poultry)
- Grill meats to the required doneness following Pampa’s standards
- Carve meats table-side and interact professionally with guests
- Monitor meat rotation and ensure food safety and hygiene standards
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service team
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grilling station
- Follow instructions and collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service
Mandatory Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in Canada (Work Permit, SIN, or PR/Citizen)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- English communication skills
- Team-oriented and responsible attitude
- Willingness to wear proper uniform and follow health protocols
Preferred Qualifications (Assets)
- Previous experience in grilling, cooking, or culinary positions
- Familiarity with Brazilian-style meat cuts and service (rodízio)
- First Aid / CPR Certification
Positive and enthusiastic personality with great customer service
