The Senior Inside Sales Specialist will perform technical proposal and order support; including quotations, intake of customer orders, and invoicing/order processing.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Support customers with original and aftermarket equipment, including spare parts.

  • Prepare quotations for replacement equipment and parts.

  • Follow-up calls with customers after proposal submission.

  • Process customer purchase orders into order confirmations and sub-vendor buyouts utilizing ERP package.

  • Track customer and vendor correspondence.

  • Work with internal departments to resolve customer and supplier questions.

  • Read, understand, and convey operating manual information for client troubleshooting.

  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures and offering solutions.

  • Expedite orders with suppliers to maintain on time delivery.

  • Assist Shipping in inspecting shipment contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of shipment.

  • Maintain quote and order filing systems.

  • Prepare reports/presentation as required.

  • Assist with coordination of larger orders, including quotations, purchase order processing, delivery updates, and document control.

Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • College diploma/certificate in a technical field, and/or 3- 5+ years of inside sales experience
  • Exposure to ISO 9001 quality systems
  • Experience in a sales and/or customer service environment
  • Previous experience with industrial rotating equipment and/or valves an asset.
  • The ideal candidate will bring excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Good computer skills
