About the role
We are looking for a Heathcare Research & Data Analyst (Editorial) to join our Life Sciences & Healthcare team at Clarivate. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality control of market research reports and other product lines. You will be a part of the Product Support team that works closely with our market research analyst group and other internal departments to produce high-quality deliverables. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience in the field or Business, English, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in an editorial, science or business communications, copyright, or market research related job
- Proficiency in English language

- Willingness to question assumptions, theories, and facts
- Ability to recognize what is missing in content, argument, or presentation
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills (must be capable of working with and analyzing data)
- Ability to provide new ideas and adapt to process improvements and/or new technological tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with content management systems an asset but not mandatory
- Knowledge of medical device industry an asset but not mandatory
What will you be doing in this role?
- Interpret data and content provided by Market Research Analysts and translate them into carefully crafted and effectively articulated business writing
- Perform substantive edits on reports and other company publications to ensure professionalism and quality, as well as adherence to house style
- Identify discrepancies and holes in logic between text and data tables
- Assist in data checking, uploading of reports to the company platform/website, reviewing of marketing materials, and other day-to-day activities
- Take dense and complex topics and convey them to a broad audience; identify and help resolve content/organization issues
- Assist in resolving discrepancies in data versus text, content structure, consistency, and organization within reports
- Work closely with other Product Support Analysts and Market Research Analysts to achieve results
About the Team
You will be a part of the Product Support Team in the Toronto office, reporting to the Senior Manager, Healthcare Research & Data Analytics. You will collaborate closely with team members in the Toronto office as well as colleagues in India and Spain. The team focuses on medical device market research and is a part of the larger Life Sciences and Healthcare Organization.
Hours of Work
- This is a full time, permanent position
- This is a hybrid position working 2-3 days a week in our Toronto, Canada office
- You will work regular business hours in your time zone with the ability to flex as needed to accommodate a global team
