PATTISON is looking for a new team member to help us keep growing. If you’re someone who likes to work with trades, and technology this may be the role you’ve been looking for.
PATTISON is presently in the process of one of the largest digital expansions in North America, with new products rolling out in many GTA locations. The Digital Transit PM team is looking for a great person to add to the group, and help execute this deliverable.
The Technical Project Coordinator supports field execution and project delivery with a strong emphasis on safety, technical readiness, and cross-trade coordination. This role will require overnight or weekend work depending on project demands.
Core responsibilities include preparing and staging equipment prior to installation, ensuring all materials are organized, verified, and ready for deployment. The coordinator applies basic electrical and networking knowledge to assist field teams and provides hands-on support with technical troubleshooting, device configuration, and commissioning.
The role requires the ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and installation plans, and to work effectively with various trades to maintain workflow and resolve site issues. The coordinator also supports the Project Manager by assisting with scheduling, coordinating trade activities, tracking progress, and contributing to budgeting tasks, ensuring smooth project execution from planning through completion.
Field duties include conducting site surveys, inspections, and measurements to validate installation requirements and identify constraints. The coordinator is responsible for preparing installation-related documentation, including survey reports, inspection notes, and as-built records, ensuring accurate and complete project documentation.
Who you are…
- 3-5 years of Project Management/Coordination experience in technology, and/or municipal, transit environments.
- Ability to work NIGHTS on a regular basis (10pm-6am) this work happens when the stations are empty.
- Comfort with Digital Signage technologies, including LCD Screens, LED, media computers, networking, etc.
- Experience working with Trades (electrical, carpentry, engineering, etc.)
- Ability to manage details, timelines and budgets.
- Attention to detail.
- A creative mind, to push projects from great to outstanding.
- A Valid Ontario Driver’s License and Car (kms to be reimbursed)
