About the role
Our Materials group is hiring an AZ Driver for our Tatlock Quarry location. Our fleet is both tri-axle/pup and tractor/trailers combinations with automatic transmissions
Job Location: Tatlock Quarry (177 McIlraith Rd, Clayton ON)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transport materials to and from site locations.
-
Operate a wheel loader to load the truck when required (new hires will be trained).

Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform minor maintenance tasks.

Navigate rough terrain safely and effectively.
-
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, use PPE as required.

Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
-
Communicate effectively with quarry staff and other team members.
EDUCATION, REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
-
Valid AZ driver’s license
-
CVOR and personal abstract (validity within 30 days)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to work 12-hour days
- Shift is one week of days and one week of nights
- Loud, dusty environments
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Occasionally unplanned, long shifts
- Available for multiple weekends per year, and overnight shifts
