Your Tasks
- Act as a primary liaison between customers and company ensuring that all customer requirements are met on a timely basis.
- Prepares daily staging report for shipping.
- Updates requirements regularly with releases received from customers.
- Completes daily cum reconciliation on all parts.
- Collects, analyzes and verifies all customer data requirements highlighting major fluctuations and forwards to Area Leader – Production Control /Production Control Manager for review.
- Participates in weekly demand maintenance update effecting MRP, CPR and RPS.
- Communicates with customers electronically and/or via phone on all issues regarding schedules.
- Responsible for maintaining computer systems on all released shipments.
- Forwards appropriate invoices/documents to Accounting for processing.
- Confirms that Automated Shipping Notices (ASN) have been transmitted.
- Handles issues that arise regarding scheduling, system maintenance, customer requirements, customer CUMS (Cumulative Shipments), etc.
- Responsible to process all non-prods.
- Handles all system updates for customers advising of shipment delivery dates.
- Champions all customer performance ratings
- Any other reasonable request made by management.
- Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 5S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize and support) are supported and adhered to.
- Ensures he/she is in full compliance with the laws of Ontario and/or any other province or state, while representing KIRCHHOFF Automotive or during the use of any KIRCHHOFF Automotive provided equipment.
- Judgement – exercises judgement re:
- Determining the best alternative arrangement when shipment is not available using the most cost effective method
- Accurately and efficiently processing shipping documents
- Handling all customer requests/concerns accurately and efficiently
- Accountability – is accountable in areas of:
- Accountable for clear and direct communications with customers including DDL, Smart
- Maintaining accurate records including CUM’s (Cumulative Shipments)
- Ensuring that the customer receives the correct quantity of the right product at the right time
- Contacts – establishes/maintains relationships:
- Employees within Sales, Shipping/Receiving, Accounting, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing and Production
- Suppliers
- Customers
- Canada Customs
- Responsible for monitoring and reviewing daily data reporting within the ERP system to support Warehouse Management, Material Management, Production, or Finance.
- Collaborate with Production/Production Control Manager to resolve production and warehouse management inventory discrepancies.
Your Profile
Work Experience
- 1 to 4 years customer service experience or equivalent in automotive/manufacturing industry
- Sound understanding of IATF 16949 requirements
- Good understanding of automotive processes and procedures
Skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships
- Effective problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers/customers on requirements
- Computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office, Automotive ERP systems (SAP) and customer software, e.g., EDI, DDL, Smart
Education
- High School Diploma
Salary
- Based on experience, salary ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 annully
