What you will do:
Working in partnership with home builders, contractors, designers and homeowners, Wolseley showrooms continue to be among the top destinations for plumbing fixtures in Canada. Our proven reputation for knowledge, expertise, and commitment to training our team of sales and customer service specialists, has helped us attract and retain customers that are among Canada’s best companies. We know our people make the difference in providing a quality shopping experience. Our consultants offer superior product expertise, an in-depth understanding of the design build process, and a passion for helping our clients find just the right solution for their projects.
- Support Consultant Team with sales orders, order management, customer solutions
- Staff Scheduling and day to day team leadership.
- Reporting to Area Showroom Manager
- Holding Showroom team accountable for sales targets
- Develop & build strong relationships with our customers, including contractors, home builders’ designers and homeowners with their plumbing / lighting orders either over the phone / e-mail or in-person
- Evaluate customer’s needs and promote products by demonstrating features and benefits of specific plumbing / lighting products
- Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information
- Project manage multiple large orders and quotes
- Conduct timely follow-ups with customers
- Provide expert advice about available products; and advising on alternative products
- Create quotes and provide pricing list and specification packages
- Prepares sales orders for entry into the system.
- Builds and maintains customers relationships.
What will you bring:
- Customer service focused with a strong sales mindset and experience with Luxury and upgrade sales
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Have a good understanding of the plumbing / home décor industry
- 1-2 years’ experience working with contractors, designers, or luxury home builders
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
- Enjoy working in a fast paced, autonomous atmosphere
- Have a flare for design and home décor trends
- Mechanical understandings an asset
- You enjoy working as part of a team and willing to support others
- Your ability to understand design drawings would be an asset
