(Director) Chief of Staff What We Need The Chief of Staff (Director Level) will serve as a trusted advisor and right-hand to the CEO, enabling strategic alignment, operational effectiveness, and cross-functional execution. This role is central to driving organizational priorities, ensuring seamless communication, and supporting the CEO in decision-making, planning, and implementation. The Chief of Staff will act as a thought partner, facilitator, and integrator across leadership teams and external stakeholders.

A Day in the Life Strategic Advisory & Alignment
- Partner with the CEO to define, track, and execute on strategic priorities and organizational goals.
- Lead preparation for board meetings, executive offsites, and leadership strategy sessions.
- Provide data-driven insights, analysis, and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Ensure alignment and follow-through on CEO commitments, both internally and externally.
Executive Operations & Support
- Act as a gatekeeper and proxy for the CEO in select meetings and communications.
- Manage and prioritize the CEO’s agenda, ensuring efficient use of time and focus on strategic matters.
- Draft executive communications, presentations, and reports for internal and external audiences.
- Coordinate across departments to streamline decision-making and resolve bottlenecks.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between the CEO and senior leadership team, ensuring clarity, accountability, and follow-up.
- Drive special projects, initiatives, and cross-functional programs on behalf of the CEO.
- Monitor organizational health, culture, and engagement, and recommend improvements.
- Build strong relationships across teams to foster collaboration and trust.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Support board governance and investor relations by preparing materials, updates, and briefings.
- Represent the CEO’s office in interactions with key partners, stakeholders, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, processes, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in consulting, corporate strategy, operations, or executive support roles.
- Proven track record of partnering with senior executives and managing cross-functional projects.
- Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Strong executive presence, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment.
- High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.

The hiring base salary range for this position is $200,000 CAD annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
