The Senior Manager, Network will lead the design, implementation, and management of the company’s network infrastructure across all data center sites. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of core and customer-facing networks. The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge, operational leadership, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement and scalability of our network environment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree or certifications (CCNP, JNCIP, etc.) preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in network engineering and operations, including 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 networking, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, and network segmentation.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise and/or data center networks, ideally across multiple locations.
  • Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.
  • Familiarity with fiber and copper cabling standards, cross-connect provisioning, and structured cabling design.
  • Strong understanding of network monitoring tools, SNMP, syslog, NetFlow, and automation platforms.
  • Solid understanding of network security concepts, DDoS mitigation, firewalls, and zero-trust architectures.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams, projects, and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end operation of the network infrastructure, including data center LAN/WAN, internet connectivity, and inter-site communication.
  • Oversee the planning, deployment, and lifecycle management of core networking equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Collaborate with facilities, IT, and engineering teams to support infrastructure expansion, migrations, and technology upgrades.
  • Ensure maximum network uptime and performance through proactive monitoring, redundancy planning, and incident response.
  • Develop and implement network policies, standards, and best practices, including change management and security protocols.
  • Manage a team of network engineers and technicians, including hiring, mentoring, training, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee vendor relationships for networking hardware, service providers, and third-party support contracts.
  • Lead capacity planning and network architecture reviews to support future growth and evolving customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate network documentation and support audit/compliance requirements as needed.
  • Support customer onboarding, cross-connect provisioning, and troubleshooting for colocation and cloud customers.
