Compensation: $23.00 - $26.00

The Position The Shipper/Receiver is part of the Supply Chain team that manages the inbound and outbound movement of materials. Reporting to the shipping/receiving supervisor, the Shipper/Receiver will work with all departments to ensure that materials and equipment flow through the system quickly and accurately. This position requires a high degree of creativity, team effort and accuracy.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operation and inspection of motorized lift trucks, experience considered an asset
  • Inspect and verify incoming/outgoing goods against packing lists and/or other documents as per prescribed guidelines
  • Facilitation and uploading of certifications/documents to digital storage
  • Digital processing of shipping/receiving/inventory transactions
  • Eclipse owned vehicle operation, as assigned, including but not limited to flat bed truck, pick-up truck, dock level box truck
  • Must be licensed to drive in Ontario, and insurable by Eclipse Automation
  • Pick-up and delivery of shipments within a 300km radius as assigned
  • Accountable to cycle counting and inventory control activities
  • Manual material handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
  • Internal kitting and delivery of parts to manufacturing
  • Management of failed, suspect, or non-required materials
  • Flexibility to support multiple Eclipse sites in Cambridge, Ontario

What We’re Looking For

  • Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related discipline considered an asset (materials management, supply chain management or business)
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license required
  • Industry Certifications considered an asset (CSCMP, CPIM, CSCP, CCLP, etc.)
  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse/shipping/receiving experience
  • MRP/ERP experience considered an asset (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Intermediate level skills required in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A strong team-player with experience working in cross-functional teams is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Committed to continuous improvement within the work environment
  • The ability to multitask and to prioritize those tasks
  • Adherence to all Health and Safety rules and procedures a must
