Superior Sany Solutions, a division of Imperial Dade Canada, a leading national distributor, has a position available in Sherbrooke. The Distribution Team Leader supports the supervision of all picking and receiving activities while minimizing disruptions to customer service. They must support warehouse employees while maintaining a good working environment and promoting health and safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in daily warehouse activities.
- Be self-motivated, reliable, and conscientious.
- Have good decision-making skills and be able to work independently.
- Demonstrate leadership, supervise, and support warehouse staff.
- Assist the supervisor with semi-annual and annual evaluations of warehouse staff.
- Promote a culture of safety among staff at all times. Ensure that safety procedures are strictly followed and that tasks are performed safely and efficiently. Participate in monthly health and safety meetings and warehouse safety inspections.
- Support and ensure the smooth running of activities related to order fulfillment, picking items, receiving stock, and maintaining inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective customer service both internally and externally.
- Ensure that staff productivity and error elimination targets are consistently met.
- Provide orientation and ongoing training.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean.
Qualifications:
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of computers and computer systems.
- Personal assets: exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge and experience of general warehouse management practices and procedures, including order fulfillment and receiving services.
- Experience with forklifts, loading and unloading trucks.
Working / Other Conditions:
- Work on site in a dry, climate-controlled warehouse.
- Mandatory use of personal protective equipment provided by the company.
- Minimal to moderate exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and vibrations typical of a warehouse environment.
- Repetitive physical activities, including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling weights up to 50 lbs (23 kg) throughout the shift.
- Ability to operate standing material handling equipment, as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work extended hours, which may be required from time to time.
