– St. Theresa Catholic School Elk Island Catholic Schools Sherwood Park, Alberta We are accepting applications for a Caretakers at St. Theresa Catholic School in Sherwood Park with a job allocation of 0.4375 FTE working approximately 17.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 6:00pm – 9:30pm).

The starting rate is $25.56 per hour, with a job rate of $26.77 per hour. Benefits are provided in accordance with the C.U.P.E. Local 1961 Collective Agreement. Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Successful Candidates Will Demonstrate The Following Qualifications And Skills

• The caretaker will have a good working knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning agents and materials.
• The caretaker must work in accordance with the OH&S Act, school board policy and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) protocol.
• The caretaker must have good communication skills as well as a good understanding of oral and written English.
• The caretaker must be able to work independently as well as effectively with others.
• The caretaker must have the ability to handle the physical demands of the job by using knowledge of appropriate lifting tools and techniques, ability to lift or carry items weighing 20-50 pounds, ability to reach high work areas with ladders and/or scaffolds and work at heights greater than 10 feet.
