4+ years of professional experience with C# and .NET development. Extensive experience with .NET Framework 4.8 and/or .NET 8. Proven experience building new applications or features from scratch. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures. Experience with system design and scalable software architecture. Experience building backend services and APIs. Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries. Experience working with messaging or streaming technologies such as Kafka, MQ, or similar. Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for software engineering fundamentals.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Trading, capital markets, or financial services experience. Software architecture experience. AI or machine learning project experience. Startup or high-growth company background. Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP). Exposure to WPF or desktop UI development.

Insight Global is looking for a Lead Developer to join a high-performing trading technology team focused on building new features and enhancing real-time trading systems. This role is heavily backend-focused and ideal for a hands-on software engineer who enjoys designing scalable APIs, solving complex technical problems, and working on high-throughput, event-driven systems. The successful candidate will initially operate as an individual contributor within a squad, with future opportunities to take on team leadership responsibilities.
