Be part of our talented and growing team! We are currently looking for an Analyst, Credit Risk Management , to join our team reporting to the Manager, Credit Risk Management.
As an Analyst, Credit Risk Management you will support the end-to-end credit cycle for the Direct Lending portfolios, including origination strategies and policies; portfolio management and performance monitoring; loss mitigation toolkits, policies and execution; internal and external (1st and 3rd party) collection strategies; and, post charge-off recovery, settlement and asset sale strategies.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Contribute to the development of loan origination strategies that balance profitability and risk.
- Collaborate with Collections Analytics to improve delinquency rates, reduce costs, and enhance recovery processes.
- Support regulatory reporting and ad hoc data requests.
- Monitor portfolio performance using statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
- Prepare performance reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors
- Provide analytical support for new product initiatives and cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, Marketing).
- Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures.
- Stay current on industry, regulatory, and macroeconomic trends, and recommend strategic responses.
- Perform other risk analytics tasks as assigned.
Who Are We Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in credit risk or financial services is an asset.
- Strong understanding of credit risk principles and risk assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, R, or Python for data analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, AWS QuickSight) is an asset.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
