About the role
On our client’s behalf, The Warrington Group is confidentially seeking a dedicated Shopify Web Developer to take ownership of their ecommerce platform, improve site performance, and deliver a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day management of the Shopify store.
- Build, test, and deploy custom themes, Liquid templates, and app integrations .
- Develop and optimize product pages, landing pages, and promotional sections to maximize conversion.
- Improve site speed, security, and overall performance.
- Ensure site architecture is scalable and optimized for both B2C and B2B ecommerce growth .
- Manage inventory integrations and product catalog updates.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and manage third-party integrations (ERP, CRM, analytics, payment gateways).
- Maintain web accessibility and compliance with best practices.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure product launches and campaigns are technically supported.
- Provide regular analytics reporting and recommend improvements to conversion funnels.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional web development experience , with 2+ years focused on Shopify .
- Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .
- Experience with Shopify Plus and custom theme development is an asset.
- Familiarity with API integrations (ERP, CRM, Klaviyo, analytics tools).
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for ecommerce websites.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage projects independently and meet deadlines.
