About the role

True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for customer service-driven and reliable individuals to join our Premium Services team.

We’re now hiring for multiple roles in our Premium Suites, including Server, Pantry Staff, Alcohol Runner, and Food Runner.

Premium Services team members will be part of a professional hospitality team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to premium clients during Winnipeg Jets/Manitoba Moose games and special events at Canada Life Centre. Team members will be proactive, extremely service-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about exceeding guest expectations.

What to be excited for in this role:

Customer Service & Operations

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and guests, building relationships with Season Ticket Members to exceed service expectations.
  • Receive, assemble, and deliver food orders timely and correctly to designated Premium Guest areas.
  • Ensure proper portioning and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with building and LGCA regulations.

Setup & Maintenance

  • Support pre-event setup of work areas and equipment related to food and beverage service.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked working environments.
  • Responsible for promptly clearing suites by collecting bus tubs containing used dishes, glassware, and utensils, and safely transporting them to the designated kitchen or dishwashing area for cleaning.
  • Assist with closing procedures, including timely return of dishware to main kitchen.
  • Deliver additional supplies as requested by Premium Services Supervisors.

Inventory & Safety

  • Verify inventory before and after each shift and maintain proper inventory control.
  • Support equipment operation and safety protocols.

Communication

  • Uphold open communication with all working teams and ensure supervisors are informed of any issues that arise.
  • Perform other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the organization.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven ability to communicate with all patrons, customers and coworkers.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently solve customer concerns with the utmost professionalism.
  • Strong teamwork skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Reliable, punctual, and regular in attendance.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and digital registers is an asset.
  • Current Smart Choices Certification or willingness to obtain (required for applicable positions).
