Internship: Electrical Assembler (4-month) - Perth, ON, Canada
About the role
Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking an Electrical Assembler Intern.
What You’ll Do Position Overview: Responsible for assembly and wiring standard & engineered control assemblies, as well as full functional and electrical testing on products within our Modification Shop.
Essential Functions
- Work from drawings, specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams as well as other verbal or written instructions and perform electrical and mechanical assembly.
- Determine wiring sequence, layout and location.
- Perform testing to verify work.
- Work to CSA, UL, CEC codes and company quality requirements.
- Provide input and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in the facility as required.
- Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values, Code of Ethics as well as safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
- Enrolled and Returning to an applicable post-secondary program.
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
- This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 120 kms of the work location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment an asset.

- Strong analytic skills.
- Strong customer services focus with a commitment to confidentiality, a high level of professionalism and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely on multiple projects, in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
- Good problem solving, mathematical skills and troubleshooting ability.
